A LETTER FROM THE
SCIENCE CLUB ADVISOR AT
ALDRICH MIDDLE SCHOO

"The Science Club of Aldrich Middle School decided to work on problems in our community. We first chose to try to help our environment by encouraging people to stop needing so much plastic. Then I talked to Richard Spanton at Luther Valley and he came up with the idea of picking your apples. We thought that the apples and pears would get some food to the food pantry, like we had hoped to do before. In addition, if we can sell some, it is a start to raise money for other community problems we are trying to solve too. So you see your offer was quite the dream come true for our science club kids. Our goal is to continue to help our community by solving some of these problems. With the help of wonderful people like Richard Spanton Jr and Chrissie and those at Orchard Ridge Farms we are able to make a difference in our community.

Thank you again for the wonderrful experience you allowed the students to have as well as the generous contributions that you gave us to share with other less fortunate people than ourselves.
